Graduation Project-General

I'm new here! What the heck is the Graduation Project thing all about?? See this link which is a general description, then look over all the GP links [left], then e-mail me if you still have questions.

D. H. Conley strongly recommends volunteering for the project portion of Graduation Projects. You must, however, volunteer for something that is 1. new to you 2. something you will learn from [What will you learn that you haven't known before? If you are interested in the Humane Society, for example, talk to them. What can yu do that will "teach" you something? I don't want you to end up saying that all you learned was how to scoop poop! Sure, that needs to be done, but how much will you learn from JUST scooping?]

Another good idea that is not used very frequently for some reason is to get your life saving certification. Check with ECU rec or maybe the Red Cross about this. Yes, it costs--I've forgotten how much, but somewhere around $150, but then you're just about guaranteed a summer job for as long as you want it--a fun job it seems to me!
